Whippsans Kennel was started in 2001 but my intrest in Whippet started already when I was living with my mother. She had Whippets and went to Södertälje to race them. The racing in Södertälje was started in 1972 by Tina and Tommy Permo.

My first own dog was Thunderwhip's Double Fantasy "Emma" and were born in 1987-12-17. At that time I had a dog that I had been given by my mother. His name was Balzac Två Bröder "Frasse" born in 1983-05-06. 1989-09-11 did Emma and Frasse get four puppies 2+2. In february 1990 was Frasse hit by a car and killed. Emma was put to rest in 1997 because of high age. At that point I didn't whant another dog, but after two years I just had to get a new whippet. So in june 1999 I went to Karlshamn and bought Pegasus "Hjalle" at the age of one. Hjalle wanted a buddy, so in the year of 2000 I bought Sotholmens Jerry Williams "Lilleman" who is born in 2000-03-06. Approximately year later I bought Luna "Smulan" who is born in 2001-04-05.

In the spring of 2001, when I was looking for a bitch whom later turned out to be Smulan, I met Håkan Welander who is the owner of Kennel Galactic's. We later moved in togehter.

The reason to why I am starting with Papillon are because my grandmother had a Papillon bitch called Lillan. I got a deeper connection with the breed becasue of my mothers neighbour who breeds papillon. Snuttan comes from Destiny Height's kennel.
